Fair Isle Marine Action Plan

The Fair Isle Community has prepared a Fair Isle Marine Action Plan (FIMAP) which outlines its needs and aspirations for maintaining a high quality environment for wildlife and humans alike.

It demonstrates a holistic approach to sustainable management as well as emphasizing how much a healthy, fully functioning marine environment means to the long-term well-being of the community and to others enjoying and using the marine resource.

A few of our objectives have been achieved already but there is still much to be done. We are working hard to do this.
