NOTE - Gannet colonies on Fair Isle have expanded greatly since the original map was produced. Additional sites for Gannet are now along the NW coast from south of Guidicum to Dronger, NW offshore stacks including Kirki Stack, and on the east side of the Isle at the back of Sheep Craig. Whilst other breeding seabird populations on the Isle have generally declined in number, the above map still indicates the best areas to see them.
